Description
The Great Rishis of the Upanishads explain to us that life is to be lived for the purpose of improving ourselves to reach the State of Super Consciousness. Hence the Upanishads are the sacred scriptures of the Hindus of which the Isavasya Upanishad is one of the shortest of its kind – a brief poem discussion the Self (Atman). The Sanskrit term “Isha Vasyam” literally translates to “enveloped by the Lord” and refers to the theory of Atman. Adi Sankara has commented on these verses in Sanskrit.

Hari OM! Awesome! Very simple consise and straight forward. Pure reflection of Pujya Gurudev’s vision! Helps you determine where you stand and how much more you have to cover along with the need for self effort and how far it can take you! The qualifications required at different stages for progress. The different results of Karma, Upasana and Knowledge, where they lead you, where you get them and what remains there after. Clarity about where the different paths can be practiced together and where they contradict is very helpful. The role of Bhakti and need for prayer is pointed precisely. Logic supported by the intention of the Vedas is explained beautifully in simple terms with examples. Very Graceful !
